MICHAEL NING is President and CEO of Arque Capital, Ltd. Mr. Ning leads the Arque Group’s holding company, Arque Orion Winter Skies, Ltd., and its affiliated companies, Arque & Co. Incorporated and Arque Orion (Japan), K.K. Mr. Ning has been involved in the securities industry for over 18 years. As an investment banker, he has placed and helped place almost $300 million into numerous global investment projects.
Mr. Ning was formerly affiliated with Merrill Lynch International, Oppenheimer & Co., and Shearson Lehman Brothers. He led Lexington Management Corporation’s institutional sales and marketing operations in Asia and Southern California. Most recently, he created and managed Wedbush Morgan Securities’ Wealth Management and Corporate Executive Service programs. He is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and has written articles and a book on wealth management that was used at Wedbush Morgan to train their financial advisors.
Mr. Ning is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and a former Coro Foundation Fellow. He currently holds NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
DAVID FERGUSON is Operations Director of Arque Capital, Ltd., and is responsible for trading and operations for the firm.
He currently holds series 7, 8, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
AUDREY KUWABARA is Vice President and General Counsel to Arque Capital, Ltd. and its parent company, Arque Orion Winter Skies, Ltd. Ms. Kuwabara also serves as Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of the Investment Committee to Arque & Co. Incorporated.
Recently, Ms. Kuwabara was a consultant to Wedbush Morgan Securities and was in charge of money manager/alternative investment manager relations, departmental compliance and operational oversight. In addition, Ms. Kuwabara assisted Mr. Ning in past investment banking dealings as both financial and contract analyst.
Ms. Kuwabara is a member of the California State Bar and holds a California Real Estate Broker’s license. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. She holds NASD series 7 and 24 securities licenses.
